Foreign language as a graduate requirement

Based on article #35 of the Regulation for admission, enrollment and evaluation of students, the UABC requests, as a requirement for graduation, that all students will accredit knowledge, at the intermediate level, of some language in addition to Spanish.

 

Because work environments tend to be multinational, it is a necessary skill in all professionals. Due to the regional characteristics of Baja California, an institutional diagnosis is made of the level of knowledge of the English language in new students. The results are delivered to the academic units, so that they orient their students about the support offered by the UABC so they can meet this requirement.
